About

Born and raised in Baku, Azerbaijan, Ramil Asadulzade grew up in a disciplined and modest household, shaped by the values of service and education—his father a military serviceman and his mother a teacher. Early on, he developed both analytical strength and leadership skills, participating in mathematics Olympiads—often earning top prizes—and serving as captain of his basketball team. His professional journey began in finance and manufacturing, where he developed strong project management skills and earned recognition for innovative contributions, including securing a U.S. patent. Over time, he transitioned into executive leadership within the oil and gas industry, where he spent more than a decade in senior financial roles before being promoted to CEO in January 2024. Under his leadership, the organization underwent significant transformation—strengthening financial discipline, improving operational standards, and restoring internal pride among employees. Ramil approaches challenges with a methodical mindset: one variable at a time. He believes that business success is built on trust, reputation, and consistent execution. “Business is conducted between companies, but hands are shaken between people.” A lifelong learner, he remains passionate about energy markets, strategic governance, and global economic development.
